Should mint and chocolate be combined?

A coworker of mine says that mint and chocolate together in any form (mint chocolate ice cream, after eight chocolates, peppermint Pattie’s etc.) is an abomination and that I am in the minority for liking it.

I’m curious to know what the polling community’s take is on this.
