Did your parents read/tell you bed time stories?

One of the many small things I feel I've taken for granted. When I was a kid my dad would very frequently tell me a story before bed. They were always off the top of his head, never from a book. He even fell asleep himself a few times while telling the story. My favorite stories were about this great big bass, it's a type of fish. It's name was "old moss back". He was so old and big he had green moss growing on his back like some turtles do. The stories were usually from the perspective of OMB and the little day to day adventures or experiences he had.

I hope I never forget my dads stories and if I'm lucky enough maybe even get to tell them to my kids.
